In a video passed on to Supervisor Scott Wiener, a vandal tears down a young tree on Noe Street. It's senseless and kind of awful, but here it is on the chance the vandal can be identified.



Wiener issued the following on Facebook, and is perhaps now a go-to tree spokesperson in San Francisco with his plans for a tree fund.
