Danish brewer Mikkel Borg Bjergsø — who has a cult following among American beer geeks for his various small-production beer experiments and who opened his first American outpost, Mikkeller Bar, in San Francisco last year — has teamed up with the Mission Chinese crew to make a house-label Mikkeller Mission Chinese Food Beer.

As Inside Scoop reports, it's a German-style pilsner with "a smokey note and Sichuan peppercorns," and it was produced by Bjergsø's brewery in Denmark. And the label bears the image of a dragon with Danny Bowien's face, glasses, and signature skullcap.

The beer's actually not available anywhere in S.F. yet, but will be soon! It will be served at Mikkeller Bar and at Mission Chinese Food, and will be one of the more talked about sips, no doubt, at this year's SF Beer Week.

In other news, Mikkeller Bar SF was recently named Beer Bar of the Year by Imbibe Magazine.
