In Noe Valley, where home prices are soaring, some merry pranksters are taking the term "Median Rent" literally with this cozy-looking statement that popped up in the middle of Dolores Street.
Frankly, we're not quite sure what to make of this visual pun: Is it a practical joke by neighbors with an air mattress and too much spare time? A publicity stunt by Pier 1 Imports? The URL on the sign offers no clues, as it goes nowhere and a search for "Outside the Box Realty" only turns up a LinkedIn page for some company in Orlando. The phone number, meanwhile, simply dials the Mayor's office. Clever.
