WIth a meme-ridden theme of "Harlem Shake" this year, the 35h Carnaval, one of the remaining remnants of the old Mission, still stands as the city's most bombastic annual parades, featuring music and cultural elements from Latin American and Caribbean traditions.

The party went down wonderfully on Harrison Street between 16th and 24th Streets over the weekend. Gorgeously so, in fact. Here are a handful of stunning, color-drenched images from Sunday's bash in the Mission.
