A man was captured on BART surveillance cameras Sunday evening around 6:45 p.m. hopping down into the tracks at Embarcadero Station and walking into the Transbay Tube. This caused BART service to be suspended for an hour and a half last night.

BART spokesman Jim Allison is saying that the man "didn’t appear to have any kind of malicious intent," however it's unclear what his intent was, or if he was just drunk.

BART police got on a train and took it into the tube to find the man, and by the time they go to him he was about halfway to West Oakland, walking along the walkway next to the track. He was arrested for trespassing.

BART service to the East Bay resumed just after 8 p.m. Sunday.
