To go along with this Labor Day weekend's screening of Alfred Hitchcock's Vertigo at the Castro Theatre, Spoke Art unveiled two new screen prints by artists Chuck Sperry and Sam Smith available for purchase by attendees.

In addition to being ranked one of the greatest films of all time, Vertigo is a must for anyone living in San Francisco. (Or anywhere, really.) If you haven't caught a 70mm print of Hitchcock's classic at the Castro, you're not a true intellectually smug San Franciscan. It's got everything from Mission Dolores, the Golden Gate Bridge, and an excellent piece of "skid row" shade thrown at the Mission via Barbara Bel Geddes.
You can catch Vertigo at the Castro tonight, Friday August 31st for the 8pm screening, and tomorrow, Saturday September 1st for the 2pm, 5pm and 8pm screenings of the film, where Spoke Art will have an allocation of these two prints reserved for filmgoers.
