Two of our new favorite things to hit up in the city, soul food and speakeasies, will join forces Tuesday as Tango & Stache comes to Dalva for an affordable southern-themed pop-up dinner. Tango & Stache chef/founder Joshua Wilder Oakley (Michael Mina, Bar Bambino, Gary Danko) tells SFist that he plans to prepare a menu boasting chipotle-and-Coca Cola braised pulled pork as well as spicy "white boy" slaw. All for a shockingly reasonable $8. (We've had Oakley's fine fare. We can safely tell you that it's worth far more than eight bucks.)

Cocktails will also flow liberally to get you in the mood. It all goes down on Tuesday, August 7, at Dalva (3121 - 16th Street) in the Mission. Also, next week's pop-up will be one of the rare public offerings from T&S, so, you know, for lack of a better cliche, it's not to be missed. It's all in honor of a new cocktail menu at the hideout in Dalva.

See you there, folks.
