Perhaps you don't understand how absurdly rich people are up in Marin. Especially in Belvedere. Well, Clark and Sharon Winslow, who own an 11,000-square-foot, $19 million mansion with its own "resort-style health club," just bought the house next door and demolished it all because it was in their line of sight and blocking their view of the Golden Gate Bridge. The cost for that new view: $4.2 million, a relative "steal" after coming down from an asking price of $7.5 million. Let's hope they're paying their share in taxes and helping fund California schools!

According to local realtor Olivia Hsu Decker, the demolition will be welcome to everyone on tony Belvedere Avenue because "The house was pretty beat up anyway," and the owners "hadn't lived there in the last two years." It don't look too shabby to us!! We'll even live there with that hole in the roof.

Anyhow, someone notify Occupy. Go occupy those fine folks' yard and block their view! (Just kidding! Don't do this, please.)
