Major news for former San Francisco First Lady/director Jennifer Siebel. Miss Representation - her documentary that, according to IMDB, "[e]xplores the under-representation of women in positions of power and influence in America, and challenges the media's limited portrayal of what it means to be a powerful woman" - found an appropriately powerful buyer: Oprah Winfrey.

The film will air on Winfrey's nascent network, OWN (The Oprah Winfrey Network). Miss Representation will be the eleventh film for the network's documentary film club.

Siebel documentary, which was shopped around Sundance in January, features Margaret Cho, Katie Couric, Geena Davis, Rosario Dawson, Dianne Feinstein, Jane Fonda, Paul Haggis, Catherine Hardwicke, Dolores Huerta, Jackson Katz, Jean Kilbourne, Martha Lauzen, Lisa Ling, Rachel Maddow, and more.
