Let’s Get Metaphysical; with artist Meryl Pataky.

Light itself has an attraction. In darkness it gives us a sense of safety; in death it calls us home. As art, it is a rare medium and those that decide to take it on seem to know that it has special qualities beyond functionality. From the master of minimal light Dan Flavin to the underground urban installations of Bar & Shay, the art of lighting will always attract us.

On Thursday, November 11th, neon light artist Meryl Pataky opens her solo show, “Metaphysics”, at a.Muse Gallery in the Mission Hill district of San Francisco. Her show is an intimate meeting of personal existentialism, literature and science.
