SFMTA sent out this helpful flier to warn drivers about incorrectly situating their vehicles while waiting to enter the Arco gas station on Fell, a move that effectively blocks the bike lane and forces cyclists into high-speed traffic.
Bike NOPA reports, "I've heard reports that once one driver gets in the queue, others follow, but the practice remains far from the norm. " Curbed goes on to point out, "the SFMTA has interns walking up to cars that block the bike lane on Fell street and giving them a flier and chatting them up about the situation."
