Kid Fell From Moving 38 Geary Bus Yesterday?

According to SF Appeal, via ABC7, a middle-schooler fell out of a moving 38 Geary bus yesterday at around 8:40 a.m. near Jordan Avenue. The boy is between 11 and 13 years old, is reportedly a Roosevelt Middle School student, and was sent to the hospital, but there is no word yet on his condition or any details from Muni.

The ABC7 story ends with, " Muni says the doors are not supposed to open while the bus is moving." So, apparently there was a malfunction with the doors, which serves as a warning not to stand on the steps between stops. SF Appeal is checking with SFPD, so check back over there for more details.
