dear sweaty pregnant lady, save time. ask someone to move, skip the facebook outrage. i have NEVER seen someone refuse to yield a seat when asked.

Um, did you NOT see the MUNI video?

um, no? SFist is not my fucking catechism, i got shit to do. i imagine it is documenting a rare time that's happened, rather than the many times people ask and get what they want?

Dear fat cow, no one made you ride public transportation. sincerely, a BART asshole rider :D

Dear Self Centered Breeder,

When you stop to contemplate that you are bringing a child into a world filled with rude assholes like the ones you describe, you'll wonder silently if there is any hope for their generation. Or did your own selfish need to have someone to care for momentarily exceeded your grasp of reality. You can't afford a car (obviously) yet you think you can afford the overwhelming cost of raising a child?

Think again.

The current generation is being raised by absentee parents, two income families, or worse, one parent families. Are you staying at home to raise your child, can you afford to or will the Mexican nanny or state sponsored daycare be responsible for raising your child?

Your child will undoubtedly be surrounded by the assholes you describe and eventually, by sheer inertia, become one of them. It is inevitable.

Getting a seat on some cruddy public transit should be the least of your worries. Enjoy the frustration and next 25 years of never ending bills.

Sincerely,
Mr. Vasectomy

Global warming, food shortages, air and water pollution, overfishing, overflowing landfills, energy shortages... all problems brought about by overpopulation.

We as a society need to shun the breeders and make them realize what they're doing.

Dear RobInSF:

Thank you for getting a vasectomy.

Sincerely,

The World

Yeah, how self-centered of your mother for bringing you into the world and nursing you and keeping you in clothes and food and in safe company so you could grow up to accuse others of egotism, simply because YOU don't like kids.
Or is that you think you popped out clean, nice-smelling, never crying and spouting your little nuggets of wisdom?

Just cuz I knocked ya hoe azz up duznt mean I gonna give ya ma seat Beeyotch!

They just thought you were fat and needed the exercise.

I have sciatica and know how that poor woman must feel like when people don't get up for me in the middle of a flare-up it is excruciating (which is why when I'm not in pain I offer my seat to those who need it more). You have NO clue if she can afford a child or not. My husband and I have a house, a second property, three cars (including a Prius and a sports car) plus a motorcycle and we STILL take the BART when it is more efficient environmentally and/or monitarily.

Maybe she has a car, but lives outside the city and was trying to do the ecofriendly thing and ride the effing train into the city you selfish a-holes. Think outside yourself much???

I always offer my seat to the elderly, disabled and yes, even preggo waddlers.
I just happen to dislike children.

hahahaha, oh you Prius drivers!

I mean, yeah, I'm not sure I'd want to bring a kid into a world full of miserable hateful SFist commenter-types. And it's more effective to ask to sit down than to complain about it later.

But yeah, a pregnant woman shouldn't have to ask. People suck.

no, she shouldn't have to, but people suck and that's no news flash.
