Since we've finally managed to forgive Michael Moore for besmirching the good name of Judah Ben-Hur, we are very much looking forward to his latest love letter to communism, Capitalism: A Love Story. Because there's nothing like a bespectacled Moore standing outside a big building, yelling into a megaphone.
Do you want to see his latest attack on good old-fashion American values? If so, the Palme d'Or-winning filmmaker will be at the Commonwealth Club tomorrow as well as screening his latest cinematic effort -- which "explores the root causes of the global economic meltdown and takes a comical look at the corporate and political shenanigans that culminated in what Moore has described as the biggest robbery in the history of this country the massive transfer of U.S. taxpayer money to private financial institutions" -- at the Metreon. (Go here to watch the trailer.)

I find it ironic that Moore's new film costs money to see, shouldn't it be free to everyone?
You would find it Ironic, since you're a idiot
please refrain from outright name-calling in the comments. or, at the very least, be wildly clever about it.
thanks.
Thank god he didn't call me AN idiot. ;)
I find it interesting the screening is at 3:30pm on a weekday... I guess they assume everyone is out of work anyway.
Michael Moore fans will not have a problem with this schedule.
Michael Moore does little more than convince centrists that the left is crazy.
While doing things like winning Oscars and bringing savage injustices to light? Then yes.
>While doing things like winning Oscars and bringing savage injustices to light? Then yes.
Artistic-elite, do-gooding, worthless beatniks!
Or as GWB said : "Get a real job!"
anytime I need a reason to drink heavily, I remember the level of discourse in this country.
Who needs a shot?
keep on preaching to the choir, fat man! i'll torrent it eventually i suppose
I wonder which megabank Moore's chosen to handle his investments and set up his trust funds. "Bowling for Columbine": $20+ million gross. "Sicko", $24+ million gross.
If he's donated the proceeds to ACORN or Hamas or Habitat for Humanity or something, well, then, cool.
Acorn = Hamas? lame.
Just in case it's confusing... You can get into the screening for free. You'll pay to go to the interview.
I may be tired of the finger pointing, but sometimes I can grow complacent without something to wake me up a little. And, even just the preview did that... http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JeROnVUADj0
