Spectacular, isn't it?

Although work crews have hit some minor difficulties -- SFGate reports that "crews were having a difficult time setting free pins from the old structure, delaying their ability to slide out that part of the span" -- the seismic project should be done in a timely fashion.

And at SFist headquarters, located next to the bridge, we report nothing but blissful silence coming from outside.

The Bay Bridge reopens on Tuesday at 5 a.m.
