Right arm clad in a sling ("I dislocated my shoulder today while sweeping oil off the steps of the bus"), Dan Deacon brought his trippy green skull, table full of day-glo electronic shit and tubby, victorious self to SF last night. Though this time, he performed on stage in addition to holding court among us peons who came to see him, as he normally does.

For those who don't know, Dan Deacon is this guy, but with less hair. Sorta. He also has a graduate degree in computer music composition. And with his show last night, from the get-go with "Of the Mountains," he created a full-bodied, interactive musical experience.
