Gay Bears to Launch Surprise Attack on Badlands in Castro

BearFlag150.jpg
EXTRA EXTRA! Calling all bears! Guerrilla Queer Bar is launching a surprise Guerrilla Bear Bar attack on the more preppy/twink-friendly Badlands on 18th Street in the Castro. 5-10PM tonight.

The curious can join the Guerrilla Queer Bar Facebook Group here. They hit the Tonga Room last week and the ensuing scene made the nightly news.

More parties for the gays this weekend can be found at The Sword (site semi-NSFW).

As a proud homosexual, I protest this pathetic 'culture'. If a grown man wants to self identify as a bear and build a social group based around body-type rather than interests, that's pretty lame. If these said bears think they are any different than or any less inane than the Castro twinks, that's pretty sad, too. Death to 'gay life'. Surely we can set our sights higher than this crap.

Oh i think the Bears do have a great shared common interest and pastime (hint: it begins with 'f' and ends with 'd')

Football ends with an 'l'.

Oh, I miss Guerilla Queer Bar? (sigh) Of course they resurrect themselves after I move. Jerks.

It would be much funnier if they invaded a bar on Pier 39 or maybe one of those TGIAppleChiliBee family places on the Peninsula. Then started a circle jerk.
