Awesome pics. But I'm worried that in true SF-style, the likely trajectory for this event plays out as follows:

1. Word spreads throughout region. Thousands more come.
2. Hallmark signs on as a sponsor of the event.
3. Registration fee required to enter Plaza.
4. Massive pre-pillow-party drinking tradition spreads.
5. Crowds grow large. No Port-o-Poties. Ruh-roh!
6. Embarcadero Center pissed on by drunken revelers.
7. Embarcadero Center joins forces with the Telegraph Hill Dwellers to demand stricter enforcement of the law at Pillow Fight.
8. Hallmark bans alcohol...and pillows... from the event. One handful of loose down feathers per person distributed at the gate.
9. Locals abandon event. Teens mill around and get bored. Some kind of violence ensues.
10. City tries to move event to AT&T parking lot. Nobody goes. Event dies.
