On Saturday January 10, San Franciscans will be asked to drop their pants for the 8th Annual No Pants! Subway Ride. The flash mob-esque event will happen in a concentrated area, with the meeting point and starting time to be posted in early January. But in the meantime, feel free to RSVP fro the mildly nude subway ride on Facebook, right here.
Other participating cities? Adelaide, Australia; Amsterdam, The Netherlands; Boston; Chicago; Denver; Lisbon, Portugal; Los Angeles; New York; Phoenix; Portland; Toronto, Canada; Twin Cities; Vienna, Austria; and Washington DC for starters. I'm glad this is on a Saturday. If it was on a weekday, and this was happening during commute time, I would probably flip out with rage. I'll be not riding the subway that day.
a. This happens regularly on the 14 Mission - no need to wait for a special occasion.
