OK, the list is huge. But who knew you all wanted to see so many business get the boot?! Anyway, we've narrowed it down to local businesses, more or less, so, please, pick the place you would most like to see disappear from the Bay Area.

where is sfist on this list?
i already covered that bit of hilarity on the first post, genius.
It's tough to decide between the Chronicle and the DeYoung but I have to go with the DeYoung for conning me out of my money for a year's membership. Yeah, I'm an idiot but at least I eventually learn. May the DeYoung collapse into a pile of rust (different than it's current configuration as a pile of rust).
And just so you know, I'll brook no bad-mouthing of the heroic donut.
All-Star forever!!!

Taco Bell is a local business?
This is a tough list. There are so many businesses on there that deserve to be tossed upon the ash heap. I was seriously torn between Zephyr "We invented Nopa" Real Estate and Cafe Gratitude. In the end, however, Cafe Gratitude won out because although both are worthy of intense loathing, I hate hippies more than real estate agents. Real estate agents at least don't reek of patchouli oil.
I have to ask, with all the fashion designer shows the DeYoung has been putting on lately, is it even a museum anymore? It's more like an annex to Dede Wilsey's closet.
First, the de Young talk is making me crazy; second, WTF--where is Chris Daly on this list?
Though he edits a local "news" website, supe Chris Daly is not a business, which he why he isn't on the list.
I'd like the pesto pizza.
The what?
The pesto pizza.
I'm sorry, you have to say it.
No.
Look, if you don't say it, you won't get it.
Okay, fine. I'd like the I Am Fulfilled.
You ARE fulfilled!
Fuck you.
Hilarious post about how loathsome Cafe Gratitude is:

Somebody on Yelp hit the nail right on the head when they said that going to Cafe Gratitude felt a little like being stuck in a Saturday Night Live skit.
The Metreon: hate it.
I love Evany.
So NOPA, is that the restaurant or people referring to the pseudo-neighborhood as NOPA?
What bothers me the most about it is that basically none of it is actually North of the Panhandle. The area that's actually just north of the Panhandle is really more a part of the Haight.
I don't want to wish bad luck any person or business, but I wouldn't be sad if this sign disappeared forever.
Not only is that a terrible sign, but it seems to be saying "I'm a colossal dick".
I like the food well enough at Gratitude but I avoid going for all of the aforementioned reasons. It feels like performing, and most days, I just want to eat, not meet someone else's expectations. In fairness, I've had some servers at the Berkeley Gratitude who let it slide when I ordered enchiladas.
I don't really get the Café Gratitude hate. I mean, part of the reason that I don't eat there is that I don't feel like saying 'I am transcendant' pretty much ever. (The other part of the reason is that I don't have money.) Now, if they had an 'I am superchingón' or 'I am bitchin', that might change things. But I don't feel as tho having to go next door to a cheaper, tastier Chinese restaurant that doesn't have a menu comprised of affirmations† & roughage negatively affects my quality of life. The Examiner, on the other hand, litters my doorstep.
† It occurs to me that the menu may be full of affirmations, but I don't have to know that.
Seeing the SF Chronicle on this list makes me really sad. We should be voting to save the Chron, not take it away.
The Examiner, however, is complete crap.
Don't take away Taco Bell on Lombard. There's a good amount of us pathetic people who work in the Marina but can definitely not afford to eat in the Marina.
Can we vote all of them? Not a single business I would miss on this list.
