On the recommendation of some friends, we headed over to the Buckshot last night. There were rumors of a metal-centric musical bent, shuffleboard, and ski-ball (yes!). All true. But what really got us was the bar menu. Corn dogs, pulled pork sliders, fried chicken, and...chicken-fried bacon.
We now have a cardiology consultation pencilled in, but it was absolutely worth it.

The Buckshot is a great bar! It's pretty much my #1 go-to place when I'm in the Inner Richmond (not super often). The crowd is often kinda collegey, but I still like it. I admit I've never even glanced at the menu, though.
Bizarrely, less than 45 minutes ago a friend in Portland was talking about chicken-fried bacon. Is it a new epidemic?

I looooove this place!!! Have yet to try the Guinness float however (oh yes, 'tis true).
