Mission Street Food Truck Re-imagined Without Truck

bagel-fuls.jpg
After last Thursday's temper-tantrum by a Vanguard Properties employee, the nascent and popular Thursday truck that offers up gastronomic goodies at the corner of Mission and 21st might leave just as soon as it came. Now, according to MSF, they'll "feature a local guest chef/cook, who will offer his or her own dishes in addition to our regular menu." And in order to do that, they plan on moving indoors to an actual restaurant. (Oh, and local chefs and line cooks looking to guest star at MSF indie restaurant TBA should submit ideas for one or two casual-but-innovative dishes [e.g., ghetto steak tartar! popcorn eggplant involtini! or fancy Hot Pockets!] can email to missionstreetfood@gmail.com. Go here for more details.) That being said, this is the perfect time to steal MSF's gourmet food truck idea.
