this is a proper analogy of the relationship i have with my folk(s).

It's not diversity, it's discrimination.

You know, I just kind of nod and smile at McCain/Palin signs: I wouldn't vote for 'em, but it's a big country and you can do what you want.

But godDAMN it's hard not to take a "Yes on 8" sign as a personal slap in the face. "All the weddings you went to in the last year? All your happy, ecstatic friend? We want the state to make it all retroactively not count." Blow me, seriously. Focus on your own goddamn family.

That's hilarious.
My friend is such a democrat he's almost a socialist, and who is his UC Berkeley roommate but a conservative with a confederate flag and life-size poster of George W Bush above his bed.

don't see this around town all that often! it's almost refreshing to see republicans sometimes. i hate to think i live in a bubble.

You mean...

Specific Whites?

I have nothing to say about the Mc/P sign, but those "Yes on 8" signs and bumper stickers (we saw a fresh crop of them on our walk Sunday, after they had been distributed at churches) make me angry. Then again, now I know whose kids to snub on Hallowe'en and who to cut in front of at Safeway.

Since when is Bush & Pierce in Pacific Heights? Who wrote this, a realtor trying sell a condo for an inflated price?

wonder if either of those apartments have a back door...

We have an Obama sign in our window, and last night we noticed that our upstairs neighbors have a McCain sign. When he noticed this, my boyfriend said, "It does always sound like elephants are walking around up there."

There is another one at the intersection of mission and guerrero except its a nader/gonzalez and biden/obama. I repeat 17 percent in 2004 voted for the republicans here in San Francisco. What really is pissing me off is why cant they at least cordinate left president to right prop.'s, my ocd is kicking in.
