Mission Car Crash Perpetuates Females- and Old Folks-Can't-Drive Stereotypes

woman%20car%20crsh.jpg

Always on the scene, Fred Sharples snapped up this image of a car crash, which went down today at on Mission Street. According to Sharples:

According to police a 90 year old woman stepped on the gas instead of the brake when pulling out of a parking spot on Mission near 21st. She went all the way across Mission and drove impossibly deep into a linen store. Someone working at the store was injured. The driver was ok.

Yikes.

but was she asian?

nice f*cking driving, a-hole!

When i lived in Massachusetts I came home one evening to police and ambulances surrounding my house. It turned out that the old man who lived next door drove his car into the side of the house. We had plastic covering that hole for a while until the house could be repaired (if he had been a foot to the left, the house might have had to be condemned). The next week he had a brand new Lexus. They didn't cite him or take away his license.
