Land of a Million Cereals Ends

Alas, Ryan Alexiev's whimsical look at breakfast cereal and the stars - or as he puts it, a "solo exhibition examin[ing] the ideology of free choice in American consumer culture (using the metaphor and medium of sugared cereals)" - came to an end this weekend at Mission 17.

While the popular exhibit will surely/hopefully show again, here are a few images of the sugary sweet satire. Enjoy.

All very cool art pieces, thanks for sharing.

I like the first biblical looking one. Especially with the stone dick looming over the scene.

I'm partial to the mysticism of "Sucramentum" with its Book of Lucky Charms.

I've been trying to come up with a pun on cereal and damien hirsch and it's just not coming.
