Previously on "Shear Genius," locals Paulo and Nekisa made the cut, as it were, and lived on to style another day.

The Short Cut Challenge was a...short cut, taking hair from long to short in 45 minutes. The guest judge was Tabatha from last season, and she was her usual blunt bitchy self. Nekisa's client had hair damaged from a lot of bleaching, and it looked like it was just breaking off in the back, so the result was kind of party in the front, business in the back. Paulo's bob cut didn't really seem to fit the client's face too well. The winner was Charlie, with his Mia Farrow-inspired short short cut. Both Paulo and Nekisa were the bottom two, with Nekisa taking the loss.

The elimination challenge involved the "Real Housewives of Orange County." Oy. The less said about them, the better. Paulo was paired with Vicki, and Nekisa was paired with Lauri. At the hair show, Lauri was first to show off her new 'do, and frankly, it didn't look that different from her old 'do. Vicki's Paulo cut had a lot of layers, but was still long and blonde, and one of the judges pointed out that it also didn't look much different.

Charlie was deemed the winner of this challenge as well. Paulo was among the bottom three, but was not eliminated; loss went to Parker, probably because he didn't know a lick about coloring hair. Our locals live to cut again!
