As former SFist editors Eve Batey and Jackson West have already asked, just what in heaven's name happened to former SFist contributor Violet Blue's posts on Boing Boing? It seems that they have deleted her ouvre from their archives. West suggest that she might have "rubbed someone at Boing Boing the wrong way," which seems likely. But that? Also seems strange for any site to do to content, especially if said content is ripe with traffic-baiting sex talk. And Blue herself? She hasn't a clue. Do you?

Oh, San Francisco! Where petty bickering is a high art form.
It was probably some boring contractual reason, but drama is always more interesting than money.
It's been a week since this happened and since Boing Boing hasn't commented yet, it is unlikely that we'll ever know for sure.
With no evidence of a blogwar, it probably was something that happened in a private exchange, maybe a poorly interpreted comment during some cocktail hour.
And since this is San Francisco, this often leads to arrogant indignation, withering stares, and stony holier-than-thou silence. Yay!
Oh, look, Boing Boing finally spoke up.
"Violet behaved in a way that made us reconsider whether we wanted to lend her any credibility or associate with her."
there must be a hilarious story in there somewhere.
