Because it's will crush your soul? Well, the Shotgun Players and Banana Bag and Bodice ensemble have finally--finally!--made it interesting. They turned the bloody, dreaded hunk of text into a rock opera: Beowulf: A Thousand Years of Baggage. It features a score by Dave Malloy and book by Jason Craig; runs through June 15.
