Scientology Protest This Sunday
Well, this should be exciting, hateful. This Sunday at 11 a.m. at 701 Montgomery Street in San Francisco, there will be a protest over that religious sect those zany Hollywood types know and love so well. You know, the one where you can't take Prozac, or call you Jewish children, or....whatever. (For a map of the SF branch, go here.) It sounds like it will be a Sunday afternoon well-spent. Instruction are as follows:
- Wear EFG Mask if possible: Purchase them on Amazon -- And yes, they're legal in SF as long as you remove them at the request of the officer- Bring a lightweight sign that is comfortable to hold... If you can, cover it in a clear plastic bag, or make it out of a waterproof material- there might be rain
- Accessories TO bring: Backpack, water, snacks, cellphone, video/still camera, change for public transit
- Accessories NOT to bring: Any form of ID, excessive cash, a car (public transit is cheaper and maintains anonymity)
- Make sure your propaganda focuses on the extortion and scamming of the church- DO NOT attack the general religious beliefs (aside from the truly twisted ones- like anti-gay and such)...
- Bring plenty of fliers- print here- there should be a good number of bystanders in the city- so make sure you have plenty of paper to hand out
- REMAIN PEACEFUL AND RESPECTFUL AT ALL TIMES! This one is important... You will likely be harassed by CoS fags... NO MATTER WHAT do not buy into their antagonism- if you do, they immediately have an excuse to legitimately attack you... This also applies to members of the general public, and Police Officers. If a Police Officer tells you to do something, you MUST remain respectful in your response- THE FATE OF OUR EFFORTS RELIES ON RESPECT TO EVERYBODY
COS is anti-gay and claims it can "cure" homosexuals. Push this in your propaganda!
And our personal favorite point:
Don't use the words "fag" or "nigga" during the protest, either verbally or in propaganda. You shouldn't be doing this regardless of the law, since it's bad PR.
Since, yes, it is bad public relations. That's why we don't use it.
Anyway, can't wait! If anyone snaps some choice shots of Beck, people being rounded up and thrown into ghettos, Juliette Lewis, or group "showers," be sure to send them our way. Thanks.
