Yikes. SFPD found a man stabbed to death at 47th Avenue and Fulton Street early this morning, a little before 3 a.m. After responding to several calls complaining about a man screaming in the streets, police discovered the dead body of a 29-year-old man when they arrived on the scene.

Sounds like the gutter punks are getting restless.
Seems 47th and Fulton is living up to its reputation. Someone got hit and killed in the crosswalk by a car (it took several months to demand that place be a 4-way stop), and now a homicide.
It's very sad that a 29 year old man died. People are homeless for all kinds of reasons including untreated mental disorders. I know of a lady that had a severe vitamin B deficiency that caused her to behave in a manner consistent with dementia. Once she was given vitamin B, she returned to normal.
With proper treatment many homeless people can be just fine. The problem is that we don't view them as real people that are worth helping.
If you are a Christian read Mathew chapter 25 verses 31-46. Those who do not look after the poor, sick and needy may be in a bit of trouble on judgement day!
