Marines returning home from Iraq were beaten to death with puppies and aborted fetuses by Oakland Airport officials on 9/27. At least that's how some conservative blogs and other outlets have spun it, more or less. (Because the Oakland Airport has nothing better to do than come up with ineffective political statements.)
In fact, it was just a tarmac/security-check issue preventing them from entering the passenger terminal for a cinematic "meet and greet" with their family and friends.

Hysteric hyperbole before bedtime, Brock?
I didn't see any mischaracterization in the "con" blog or Faux news story you cited -- they just did not adequately give Oakland Airport's side of the events. Which one would expect from any political-leaning blog and an editorial commentary (which is what the Fox News link is).
It's good you provided the full story in the other links, though.
I heard they were beaten with heathen bread loaves from Your Black Muslim Bakery right there by the entrance.
Funny, I heard the puppies the troops were beaten with were wrapped in partly-burned American flags that had been stolen from a local boy scout troop that had nowhere to post their flags since they were kicked out of the Berkeley Marina facilities, thnaks to the godless commies in the city government who are trying to indoctrinate children with their homosexual agenda; the dejected scouts took their flags up to the tree-sitters in Berkeley, thinking maybe they would at least want to hang them from the oaks while enjoying the right to free speech that those troops were in Iraq trying to protect; instead, the hippies took giant bong hits of medical marijuana from bongs they had made out of armor plating stolen off some Humvees that were supposed to protect the troops in Iraq, blew clouds of pot smoke in the kids' faces, spat on the flags, and then handed them over to the head of Oakland Airport security, who had been looking for weapons to use in their long-planned humiliation of returning Marines and just happened to be hanging out at the campus that day. It all went off without a hitch!
