Red Sun Haze
We were busy at our day job all day today, so we're just now getting to posting something about the crazy red sun this morning! Blamed on the smoke from two wildfires in the area, it was certainly eye-catching. Here's a picture we found in the SFist Flickr stream from the Castro this morning.

This was totally bizarre. It was very much like living in the cinematography of the Jeunet movie Delicatessen. Just as in the movie, the red haze was simultaneously beautiful and unsettling.
The light was so weird yesterday. It was like dusk all day long.
for those of us who speak scifi channel nerdspeak, it was like being on Caprica, post-Cylon attack...
