The Sacramento-based chapter of the National Organization of Women is targeting Big Brother's resident "rocker" and asshole, Evel Dick. NOW has issued an alert asking the public to send letters of protest to CBS about Dick’s abusive behavior in the Big Brother house.
NOW is responding to Dick’s tirades against Jen from a few weeks ago. Dick showered a mélange of offensive words at Jen, including, but not limited to; bitch, cunt, whore, and crusty crotch. He also made verbal threats, including, but not limited to; death threats, rape threats, and I’m-going-to-get-you fired threats.
Although none of these verbal attacks have been highlighted on the televised episodes (save for Dick pouring iced tea over Jen’s head), the whole world is privy to witnessing them on the live feeds and on YouTube. NOW is flabbergasted that CBS would allow such behavior to continue in the Big Brother house. And, we agree. Evel Dick should get the boot from the producers, and a restraining order for the lovely and entertaining Jen.
But the questionable behavior doesn’t stop at Evel Dick. The offensive verbal musings of other houseguests have been so poorly received by feedsters, that one of the most popular Big Brother fan sites has been significantly scaled back. Hamsterwatch decided to stop recapping the live feeds when America’s Player, Eric, made incestuous comments about Dick and his daughter (for the second time). Let’s also not forget about Amber’s anti-Semitic and anti-New Yorker remarks. Then there’s Danielle calling Jessica fat. Well, that’s not too bad; especially since we’re going to go ahead and refer to Danielle as Skeletor.
It really is a ridiculous season with some pretty awful houseguests. Of course, we can’t stop watching. We just miss Hamsterwatch a bunch, who gave the best recaps. (We’ll keep you in our Top 8, OK?)

I knew this was going to happen. The shady behavior has happened under the radar the last several seasons, but it was bound to blow up sooner or later.
Hey CBS, there's an old saying...you lay down with dogs, you get up with fleas. (Which that Evil Dick guy might actually have.)
I was with you on the anti-Dick bandwagon ... and then you had to go and call Jen "lovely and entertaining." Oy vey is mir!
Does this mean that: a) Big Brother is still on the air, and b) that people actually watch it?
How completely, utterly and unbearably pathetic.
Hello. My name is Deborah and I still watch Big Brother. Pathetic but true. I heart it so.
Turn. The TV. Off.
But...what is there to do if the TV is off? I'm confused.
My TV hasn't told me to turn it off yet and I only listen to my TV, so...
Anyway, it really bothers me that "Evel" is spelled with two e's. I keep trying to read into that and figure out what it's supposed to mean, but I think he's just stupid.
Hey guest #5-- turn off the anonymity and register. Or just turn off your computer.
Taking the time to write a comment about how pathetic it is that people watch a TV show is even more pathetic than watching it.
I've never watched Big Brother but thanks to your free publicity, it sounds like it may be classic, thoughtful, heartfelt drama (masquerading as "reality TV"), something very worthy from the Tiffany network?
guest (he/she is very prolific) said "Taking the time to write a comment about how pathetic it is that people watch a TV show is even more pathetic than watching it."
I must strongly disagree. Watching it is WAY more pathetic! Do you have any idea how many hours I save by not watching the "theater of human cruelty" that is BB, FF, and pretty much everything on MTV and VH1?
Commenting is way easier. Only takes a minute. Then you're free to create, free to dance, free to take long walks off of short piers... anything.
this is the worst reality show ever conceived in a human mind, except maybe for "Rock my Something or Other."
@8: #5 here again. I'd respond, but I'm busy making stuff.
@10 - What's "FF"? I need me some extra theater of human cruelty.
I want to know what FF is, too (so I can set my DVR to record it). Someone tell us, please?

oh yeah well, taking the time to post a comment about taking the time to write a comment about how pathetic it is that people watch a TV show is even more pathetic than either commenting on or watching it.
you know what's not pathetic? a group hug. come on, guys.
Or a group air kiss! here it comes:
MMMMMwahhh MMMMMwahhhh.
big brother is fab! it's just like survivor, but without all the athletic stuff. who wouldn't love to watch a bunch of douchebags laying around all day, smoking cigarettes, being deceitful and making jabs at each other??? it's just GREAT!
but that E.D. - he has got to go! what an ass. i also vote to get rid of that sniveling cry baby amber with her crispy hair and bad eyebrows. and even though she says she has never lied, she has. so shut the h up. yay for big brother!
If you buy into what Dick Donato preaches then all women are c*nts and wh*res and sl*ts and deserve a good f*ck up the arse until they bleed to death. Oh, and he thinks that secretly they enjoy the abuse.
As much as CBS try to present this 'man' as a doting daddy and rocking dude on their television edit he is no more than a bitter old man who got rejected by a beautiful young woman. Dick demonizes Jen because he is as evil and heartless as they come.
Meanwhile the daughter he supposedly loves is, and I quote, "a b*tch just like her mother".
I am so happy. Thank God for NOW. I emailed CBS weeks ago. The verbal abuse this woman has gone through, is crazy, whether she is annoying or not!
That being said, someone stop Wamber from crying, she's setting all women back 100 years!
Absolutely shocking -- That glib one-liners like "turn off the TV" pass for meaningful commentary. At the very least, this show may illustrate something about:
*hugs*
