SFist Tonight

thecribs.jpg

-- The Cribs, Sean Na Na, and the Hugs: popscene presents a surprisingly not-so-greasy group of Britrockers, the Cribs, performing along with Sean Na Na and the Hugs. (Aw.) Show starts at 8 p.m. at Slim's, 333 11th St.; admission is $13.

-- Improv Slam Music Jam: All-singing show presented by local improv troupe tries to delight you with their off-the-cuffness. Audience participation is rumored to happen, so you’ve been warned. Show starts at 8 p.m. at Off-Market Theater, 965 Mission, #212 (on the 2nd floor); tickets are $10.

-- Harold and Maude: Although a hipster favorite, this classic is amazing. This well-told and touching gem from the '70s is about a May-December love affair between a boy and an old woman. Oh, and it's pretty fucking funny, too. Movie screens at 7:15 p.m. and 9:15 p.m. at the Red Vic, 1727 Haight; tickets are $5-$8.50.

-- "Frat House": Gay-boy club night features DJs, techno/club-hit beats, and (probably) lots and lots of bare chests. Music starts at 9 p.m. at 440 Castro; admission is a mere $1.
