Figures. First time in years I get out of town for Fourth of July is the first time in years the fireworks don't get fogged out.
Hopefully it was a great time for everyone!
Wow! They look just like what the hippies would see after eating some of Magnolia's Mushroom Mousse.
Do they sell that stuff on the internet?
Beautiful evening, no fog, and average fireworks at best.
Didn't see the fireworks, but these pics are beautiful! Great work, Jim!
The fireworks were rather weak this year. And wtf is with setting them off in the Marina? If you where anywhere else in the city you could barely see the fireworks because they were behind the downtown buildings and pacific heights hill. I was at bernal heights park with several hundred people and most seemed disappointed. Heck, the mission kids were throwing up better firewalls than the official city ones. They should be shooting those things off around the ferry building or further south so the whole city and enjoy them.
I was down at Fort Mason and they were Fabulous.
I got some good pictures from a roof at Gough and Lombard. (Don't mind the pics of my friends golfing.)
