SFist Watches: Movies This Weekend

Oh man oh man, we cannot freakin' wait to see Where The Truth Lies, opening this weekend at the Lumiere. We're big fans of the director, Atom Egoyan, who is not only an Oscar nominee but also a frequent director on the late, great "Friday the 13th: The Series". Hell, yeah. Anyway, the movie is unrated (which still gives us an adolescent thrill), and tells the story of a Martin and Lewis inspired comedy team (played by the game guy and Mr. Darcy) involved in drugs, drinking, depravity, and death. It looks so dirty and dark and...whew! Just go see it.

If you're looking for something a little less kinky, what about the San Francisco premiere of Zombie Honeymoon, at the Red Vic? A couple of newlyweds endure a zombie attack, with the result that one of them becomes a reluctant zombie. The question is: do they have to return the gifts?

For you night owls, the Clay is showing The Warriors, Walter Hill's gang-conflict classic. You can see it a midnight tonight and tomorrow nights.

How about you? What are you hot to see this weekend? Let us know in the comments!
