There's been a development in last week's murder of Bryan "Feather Lynn" Higgins near Duboce Park. The SFPD has just released footage of the person of interest they're seeking, the previously reported white man in a gray hoodie, taken from a dashboard camera along Church Street on what may have been the morning of the attack on Higgins, as Hoodline reports.

Higgins was attacked around 7:00 a.m. on the morning of August 10th, and found unconscious near the corner of Church of Duboce. He was assaulted with a deadly weapon, though the nature of his attack was not immediately clear.

Higgins was removed from life support last Wednesday, and his case has been classified as a homicide.

Police have not said how they obtained the two bits of footage shown in the video below — the second of which is extremely pixelated and shows a man indoors in a red shirt that they say is the same man (he may have had two hoodies on in the first sequence, with the red underneath). The first bit of footage shows the man possibly harassing or following another individual, who is obscured from view with a black box in the video.

Update: The Chron adds that this footage came from a passing taxi. Also, the SFPD says they have footage of the attack on Higgins, as well as multiple witnesses to the attack.

The SFPD is seeking any information that may help with solving the case, so if you have any, you should call 415-575-4444 or text a tip to TIP411 with “SFPD” at the start of the message.

Meanwhile, Higgins' family is now trying to raise $20,000 to cover the unexpected costs of his medical care and funeral. They're a little over halfway there.
