Speaking of gay things, the breaking news this afternoon is that defense department officials are planning to certify, on Friday, the repeal of Don't Ask Don't Tell. The WSJ reports that they'll be making the announcement tomorrow, ending over a year of hemming and hawing from the Pentagon, and following on Congress's repeal of the law last December.

ABC news says the announcement will take place in an event at the Pentagon tomorrow afternoon, shortly after new Defense Secretary Leon Panetta is formally sworn in.

Yay gays!
