Neighborhood jankiness aside (and we must note that janky or not, we wouldn't trade our Sunset space for the world, we love it so), we were also surprised at the scope (or lack thereof) of the production: other than a medium-sized trailer, a rented moving van, and a sleeping security guy in a battered Camry, all was quiet. Where's the frantic sawing, the frenzied painting, demented designers trying to convince people that hot gluing felt to an end table is a really great idea? It was only 6:15, had they knocked off for the day already?

According to the "no parking" signs along the street, they're still going to be there all day tomorrow, so if you actually know who any of these folks are and are dying to meet them, here's your big chance!
