We know. There are at least ten of you out there who are SO OVER this you could die and you've just lost some modicum of respect for us. But chances are we've lost your respect hundreds of times in the last year, so what's one more time? It's a new year! Besides, there's something about this 'Shit ____s Say' meme that lends itself particularly well to Bay Area clichés, and since it's just not quite dead yet (despite our earlier prediction), we bring you these latest updates.
Your McRib Sandwich Contains the Same Ingredients As Your Yoga Mat
Or your girlfriend's yoga mat, we suppose. We doubt many of you are rushing to the Golden Arches immediately after doing your down dogs and such. In a Time Magazine report yesterday, the thin glossy's Healthland section explained some of the sandwich's more mysterious ingredients like, "azodicarbonamide, ammonium sulfate and polysorbate 80." Sure, any ingredient that ends in a number isn't exactly appetizing, but it's the azodicarbonamide that's raising the most flags here: the flour-bleaching agent used in the McRib bun, "is most commonly used in the manufacture of foamed plastics like in gym mats and the soles of shoes".
Free Yoga Sunday Through Thursday at Hayes Falley Farm
Free yoga (almost) daily in the sun, we're there! Hayes Valley Farm announced that starting tomorrow they'll be hosting free outdoor yoga all month on Sundays, Mondays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays from 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. when weather permits.

Hosted at 3:30 and 5:00, these introductory sessions will bring together a diversity of SoMa locals and introduce new visitors to SOMArts Cultural Center."

AcroYoga, according to a hasty search on Google, "combines acrobatic concepts with a yogic consciousness," with sexy results.
