Outside Citizen Space on Second Street. Heh. (For another view of the Will Ferrell cum toddler tranny hilarity, check out Curbed's shot.)

"All Tommorow's Jokes" at the Hemlock Tavern
Okay, so you don't understand why the Dowd/Friedman double-bill Friday night is the most exciting thing ever. And the rest of your Friday night social calendar is about as slim pickings as the new coked out Lindsey Lohan. Well, then SF Sketchfest, Club Chuckles, and The Sound of Young America might just have the thing for you as they present "All Tommorow's Jokes" at the Hemlock Tavern tomorrow night. Yep, the Hemlock Tavern: it's not just for alt-country fan boys and smokers anymore. And the show happens not just once, but twice, as there's a show at 9 and 11:30.
"All Tommorow's Jokes" features the comedy stylings of music duo Hard N Phirm, stand up comedian Jasper Redd, the sketch comedy group Prank the Dean, and stand up comedian Brent Weinbach. It’s hosted by another stand up comedian (go figure) Jordan Morris.
Tickets are $7 at the door.
From Beneath You, It Devours- This Week in DVDs
TV show chat-rooms? And no, not that we have, but we've heard. Seriously, nothing points out the value of DVDs more than the fact that you could just sit down anytime you want and spend all afternoon watching every single episode of The Andy Griffith Show's First Season (which, yes is being released this week) from start to finish. And other than your Star Wars or your Matrix or your Zoolander. Can you really say that of The Stepford Wives?
"Frankly, My Dear, I Don't Give a Damn"- This Week in DVDs
Last week in This Week in DVDs we were taken to task for not mentioning the release of the 4-DVD Looney Tunes Golden Collection Volume 2, something for which we humbly apologize. What doesn't call for the owning of a DVD player more than having every single great Warner Bros. cartoon available to watch 24/7? Is anyone going to say that about this week's "big" release, The Stepford Wives? We think not.
