Dolores Park Clean-Up on Sunday
In an effort to combat shameless litterbugs, loyal Dolores Park-goers have organized a regular Dolores Park Clean-Up effort. The first one is happening this Sunday at 5 p.m., and volunteers are invited to enjoy drink specials at Amnesia afterwards. With the weather forecast in the 70s this weekend, we're sure there will be plenty of discarded cigarette butts and bottle caps for the volunteers to glean.
Pink Triangle Ceremony Tomorrow, Volunteers Still Needed
Tomorrow morning is the annual Pink Triangle Ceremony on Twin Peaks. The Pink Triangle, which can be seen from miles away, commemorates the gay victims of the Holocaust and is a reminder of the on-going inhumanity to repressed minorities going on now around the world.
YBCA Seeking Volunteers for Upcoming Wallworks Exhibition
Attention art-lovers with free time on their hands throughout July: Yerba Buena Center for the Arts is looking for volunteers for their upcoming Wallworks exhibition to be launched at the end of July. Paintings, wall reliefs, and collages by Makoto Aida, Edgar Arceneaux, Chris Finley, Tillman Kaiser, Odili Donald Odita, Amanda Ross-Ho, Yehudit Sasportas, and Leslie Shows will fill the wall surfaces of YBCA's galleries and public spaces.

Starting today, homosexual pride fans, the Pink Triangle folks need help setting up that large, pink, equilateral triangle on one of the hills of Twin Peaks. Won't you help them? This year's promises to be the biggest yet, with girth like you've never seen before. The massive queer symbol "will be so large this year it will be visible from 20 miles away."
