After officers "responded to the 1000 block of Treat Avenue just east of the 24th Street BART station after receiving a call at about 3:25 a.m. of shots fired there," a man in his late 20s was discovered suffering from multiple gunshot wounds. The victim is expected to survive. SF Appeal notes: "Anyone with information about the violence is asked to contact either of the department's confidential tip lines by calling (415) 575-4444 or by texting information to TIP411."
