San Francisco resident Gregory Giusti, 49, was sentenced to 21 months in prison for making threats to House Speaker Nancy Pelosi. He was handed a year and nine months in prison, as well as three years of supervised release on Thursday. Giusti, if you recall, called up Pelosi's office and home on several occasions, threatening harm and property loss if Nancy didn't vote against the health care bill. The San Francisco-based Pelosi hater appeared in court today "dressed in Alameda County Jail clothing" and "answered most questions with a clear 'I do,' or 'Yes, sir,' but choked up and wept quietly several times." His mother, who was in the courtroom today, said her son "has a very kind heart" and would never hurt anyone.
