Tonight's lone premiere is a show we have such little interest in we didn't even bother to check out the pilot when it was available for free online. It's called "Life is Wild" and it premieres at 8 p.m. on the CW. We really have nothing more to say about it, and in fact, the main purpose of this post is to make sure everyone knows about the premiere of "I Love New York 2"......

We've mentioned before that the only "Law & Order" we watch is "Law & Order: Criminal Intent," and the main reason for that is our imaginary boyfriend Vincent D'Onofrio is on it. So you can imagine we were a little worried when the fate of the show was up in the air at the end of last season. It had something to do with the franchise not pulling in the numbers it used to,......

Tonight's premieres are all on the CW, starting with "Everybody Hates Chris" at 8 p.m. Chris Rock himself will be making his first on-screen appearance on the show about his childhood, guest starring as a guidance counselor at his middle school. Which is to say, he will be starring as his own guidance counselor. Uh...we think. Following "Chris" at 8:30 is the new series "Aliens In America" a comedy centered on a loser high......

Abandoned kids, wannabe models, sitcom groaners, socialite teens, and a screaming Brit. It must be Wednesday! Firstly, we have CBS's "Kid Nation," at 8 p.m., in which a bunch of kids are thrown into a western ghost town and forced to drink bleach. Or something. Shockingly, the notion that children were put into harm's way for the sake of a reality television program has raised the ire of local officials and some of the......

The premiere offerings tonight are limited, with the 8 p.m. return of "Beauty and the Geek" on the CW being the only new show in the line-up. The show maintains its "hot girls, geeky guys" convention once again this season, but they will be adding one geeky girl and one hot guy to the "social experiment" this time around. That's right, this isn't a dating show, although there have been hook-ups in the past.......

Did we miss an episode? It seems like forever since we've talked "Survivor" and the fate of local contender Yau-Man. How is he doing, anyway? Previously, he survived another tribal council because of Rita's yammering. Will another annoying female be his saving grace? Post-Tribal Council, and Yau-Man realized he was very lucky, although he also realized if the tribe starts kicking off members based on their weakness, then he might be next. Reward Challenge,......

Of course, our number one viewing choice this evening is the season finale of "America's Next Top Model" at 8 p.m. on the CW. Will Melrose, the local girl-we-love-to-hate, become America's Next Forgotten Model? We're loathe to play into the whole youth-is-king attitude of the modeling industry, but we have to agree with the judges' assessment that Melrose does photograph a lot older than she is (although at age 23, she's older than most......

Yes, we did cave in and buy a dual tuner TiVo this weekend and it is, perhaps, the best thing we have ever done in our entire lives. The feeling we got when we were programming the sucker, and we got the message telling us the Season Pass we were trying to set up wouldn't be recorded because it interfered with two other programs at the same time, and we realized we could just......

If you notice a change in the usual Dr. Phil and local news-centric programming at KRON 4 tonight, don't worry, you aren't going crazy; the channel is. Since the WB and UPN have merged to create the CW (all country and western music, all the time!) many former affiliate stations are adopting Fox's new network, MyNetworkTV. (Why KRON 4, which was neither a UPN or a WB affiliate, is adopting this new network remains......
