The City's 57th (58th?) homicide happened yesterday morning in the infamous Tenderloin hood. Over on Turk and Taylor, Richard Weiland, 53, was found beaten to death. According to reports, Weiland was robbed and repeatedly punched at around 2 a.m. Of course, no arrests have been made. Three separate shootings in San Francisco last night injured two in the wee hours on the morning. First, over at Turk and Taylor, two men were shot at around 2:15 p.m. a.m. It seems that a "heavyset black man" shot two victims, one sitting inside a car and the other standing just outside. Both victims were transported to SF General with "non-life threatening gunshot wounds." No arrests have been made. more ›
