Can a San Francisco afternoon be any more perfect? Here's hoping you spent the day outside, maybe at this weekend's edition of Sunday Streets in the Mission along 24th Street and Valencia. There was square dancing, drum circles, low-riders, street yoga, live bands, and more options for ice cream and popsicles than we could have imagined. Sunday Streets 2012 Announced!
Get out that sunscreen — or a parka — the Sunday Streets 2012 line-up was announced yesterday, with the big kick-off happening on March 11th along the Embarcadero. The family/bike/pedestrian-friendly event runs every month through October, and will hit the Mission on four Sundays this year, along with the addition of a date in the Outer Mission/Excelsior area.

Sunday Streets Along Great Highway This Sunday

It's been a fun summer, with many successful Sunday Streets under our belts. This Sunday's event will be the last one of the summer and will go along the Great Highway Route, connecting Golden Gate Park via Lincoln Way to the San Francisco Zoo, along Ocean Beach. Participants can expect to find the usual endless amount of entertainment, activities, booths, tables, and general fun.
