Steve Young: Still Elusive!

Found by American Football Spectacular's vigilant Kansas City correspondent Kyle Vorak, this mesmerizing image is from last night's TB@CAR ESPN coverage.

People of Charlotte, we say to you: do not be unkind to Steve Young.

As you can see, he is still elusive after years of retirement (and those adorable truck ads that your Mom appreciates). more ›

"The Genius" Has Leukemia

The SFist NFL Preview: What the Experts Say

Our favorite part of the beginning of any sports season is scanning through magazine after magazine for previews of our favorite teams. What will the experts say? Waiting for Tagliabue: The 2006 NFL Draft

As much as we said we were going to avoid the NFL Draft, we found ourselves on a lazy Saturday morning tuning in and getting hooked. In it's way, it's got that same addictive quality as a good reality show-- it's totally mindless yet totally absorbing. And like your good reality show, there's all the suspense going on once you figure out all the various more ›

Steve Young Enters the Hall of Fame

Being from Philadelphia, SFist always thought 49ers fans had it too easy. After all, their team won Super Bowls, they had the model franchise, and they had the Sainted Joe Montana at Quarterback. And then, in an embarrassment of riches, Joe was followed by an equally kick-ass QB, Steve Young. Now the Niners will have two Quarterbacks enshrined in the football Hall of Fame as today it was announced that Steve Young, along with Dan Marino, will be elected into the Hall. more ›
