This morning police found an Oakland woman locked inside her home suffering from a stab wound. It seems the woman was stabbed by her schizophrenic son, who is still at large. The incident occurred on the 100 block of 53rd Street. The unidentified female was transported to a nearby hospital. She is said to be in stable condition.

Due to a dispute over money, a woman was arrested after allegedly stabbing another woman in the city's SOMA district. "The stabbing was reported at 6:01 p.m. Sunday in the 1300 block of Ninth Street, which is near Division," reports SF Appeal. "The 28-year-old suspect and 25-year-old victim were arguing over money when the suspect took out a knife and slashed the victim's leg, then took her purse."

BCN (via SF Appeal) reports, "The 26-year-old victim said he was standing with friends when he was stabbed by an unknown suspect, according to police."
Man Shot By Officers After Stabbing Parents in Richmond District Identified
The man shot yesterday by SFPD following a Richmond district stabbing incident that left his mother dead and his father wounded has been identified as 44-year-old Peter Woo. It appears both Woo and his 50-year-old sister lived at home with their parents, and something must have set Woo off yesterday morning around 7:30 a.m. (though no motive has yet been discussed). Woo's 73-year-old mother was found gravely injured when police arrived, and his 78-year-old father was near the front door with knife wounds to his arms and hands. Police shot Woo after he came at them with knives raised. Both the younger Woo and his mother died at the hospital shortly thereafter.

The intersection on Funston and Balboa is blocked off this morning after an SFPD officer-involved shooting occurred. According to KRON 4 Morning News, two people were carried off by ambulances and a woman was arrested.
BART Shooting, Stabbing Reported
A 19-year-old man was shot in the hip a little before noon on Wednesday near the 24th Street BART station. "The shooting was reported at 11:59 a.m. in front of a McDonald's restaurant at 24th and Mission streets," reports SF Appeal. The two suspects, described as a Hispanic and black male, one of whom was sporting a white hat and blue jacket, evaded police by hopping on a BART train.
Good Samaritans Stabbed Coming to Woman's Aid
Two good Samaritans were stabbed a little before 7 p.m. Thursday evening in the city's Mid-Market area after coming to the defense of a woman. "The suspect, a man in his 50s, got into an argument with a 43-year-old woman and then punched her in the face," reports Bay City News. "When the two men, ages 37 and 47, came to the woman's defense, the suspect took out a folding knife and stabbed them both and then ran away."

Man's Throat Sliced at Fourth and Harrison
A man clings to life at San Francisco General Hospital this morning after having his throat cut several times over the weekend. "The victim, a man in his 20s, was found at Harrison and Fourth streets just after 2 a.m." on Sunday, reports BCN (via SF Appeal). Witnesses at the scene claim the suspect was "a black man in his 20s," who fled the scene. Teens Stab Man on 14-Mission Bus With Screwdriver
Around 8 p.m. Friday night, a group of teenagers, both male and female, allegedly got into a fight with a guy on a Muni bus whom they then proceeded to stab multiple times in the torso with a screwdriver. The 31- or 32-year-old man was taken to SF General where he was in life-threatening condition as of Saturday.
Bernal Heights Mom Stabbed In Eye During Argument
In a story fit for Maury, a young mother was stabbed in the eye late Thursday morning during an argument with another woman, reportedly over a man who has had children with both ladies. Here's how it went down: The victim saw the other momma in the area and a verbal joust erupted. Like any good mother would do, the victim then escalated the situation and got a kitchen knife but she didn't use it against the other mother, "who apparently had another knife or sharp object and stabbed her." Early Wednesday in the Mission District, a woman was stabbed and a man was shot in two separate incidents. First, a little after 1 a.m. near Mission and 16th streets, a 27-year-old woman "got into a fight with a man who cut her on the leg with a machete and then fled." Man Who Stabbed Fort Funston Dog Will Avoid Prosecution
The man who allegedly stabbed a dog multiple times in Fort Funston in August 2010 will not be charged. Since there weren't a lot of witnesses, “the U.S. attorney doesn’t feel that the case is ready to take to court," National Park Service (NPS) Detective Robert Reidy explained to the Examiner.
Livermore Road Rage Incident Leads To Alleged Homicide
Cort Holbrook, 41, who The Chronicle notes works as an engineer, was arrested yesterday afternoon under suspicion of murder for allegedly stabbing another driver during a traffic-related dispute in Livermore. The victim drove himself to the nearby Valley Memorial Hospital, which unfortunately does not have a trauma center. Staff contacted police, and the man was sent by ambulance to Eden Medical Center in Castro Valley.

Teen Stabbed Multiple Times On 14 Mission
A older teen was stabbed several times while riding the 14 Mission this week. "The 18-year-old victim was riding an outbound 14-Mission bus when he got into a fight with a 19-year-old man at about 1:40 p.m. Wednesday," reports BCN (via SF Appeal). "The pair continued arguing until the bus neared Mission Street and Foote Avenue, where the 19-year-old stabbed the victim."

Mid-Market / Stabbing: The city's second homicide victim of 2011 (the first was 20-year-old Larry Lacy, shot Saturday in the 'Loin) was stabbed to death by his roommate at a residence on Market Street between 7th and 8th Streets. The roommate/suspect, a man in his 40s, confessed to the crime and was taken into custody. Bacon Street Stabbing Ends in Fatal Shooting by SFPD
Yesterday afternoon police officers responding to a call from a teenage girl reporting that she had been stabbed arrived at the 600 block of Bacon Street in Portola where they found a house party "involving a large number of young people." According to KTVU, cops found the suspect inside the home holding "some type of weapon, possibly a knife." The suspect came at the officers after they asked him to put down the mystery weapon, at which point officers opened fire and inflicted the life threatening injuries that landed him at SF General. The suspect died shortly after arrival.
