Well, that was fast. Guess we won't be seeing Britney this Sunday at Bill Graham Civic Auditorium. After the damaged pop unicorn moved her concert from the Castro to the Civic Center, tickets were required to see her Sunday performance for Good Morning America. However, just minutes after going live this morning, free tickets were snapped up right-quick.

UPDATE: Sara Bareilles at GAMH Tonight, Virgin Megastore Tomorrow
Sara Bareilles (Bar - rell - is) -- summer's hottest, as they say, new singer/songwriter -- has gained a broad fan base throughout the U.S. via her extensive touring and #1 selling album, Little Voice, on iTunes, resulting in an impressive debut on Billboard's Top 200 Album Chart at #45. Praised by critics for its depth and honesty, even Rolling Stone raved "Bareilles' writing voice is uniquely her own." Luckily, we were introduced to Bareilles while covering Aqualung (for our neighbor site, Phillyist) earlier this year at World Cafe Live. We were so impressed with her singing ability, stage presence, and songwriting, we just had to get in touch with her to learn her secrets and get to know her a bit better.
Noise Pop: Rogue Wave tickets!
We first heard of Rogue Wave when they opened for Spoon a few years ago, and though we liked them back then, we had no idea they'd make such gorgeous records. Descended Like Vultures, released last October, is a must-own and with airplay on MTV2, a deal with Sub Pop and tours with Nada Surf and The Shins, they're not our hometown secret anymore.
Trouble In Paradise: Baby Face
Look, SFist is covering the Pacific Film Archive's Trouble In Paradise: Pre-Code Hollywood series because we think you should know about it and because (disclosure) it means we can walk past a "Sold Out" sign and a crowd of disappointed Berkeleyan film buffs at showtime, claim our free tickets and watch the movie. But our only real complaint about the series so far is that each film is only screening once, so if you weren't with us on Saturday night in the first West Coast audience to see the restored version of Baby Face, reader, you missed it and that's on you. We told you about it, twice.
